Keppel and Aster have teamed up to explore the development of a specialized production site on Jurong Island dedicated to creating sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from ethanol. This planned facility aims to generate an annual output of 100,000 metric tons, helping Singapore achieve its ambitious environmental goals for the aerospace sector.

Following a successful preliminary assessment, the companies are now transitioning to a  detailed engineering phase. This collaboration directly supports Singapore’s strategy to mandate increasing levels of renewable fuel usage through 2030.
