HAMR Energy is spearheading a landmark project in South Australia with the construction of a major sustainable aviation fuel production facility, marking a first for the nation’s renewable energy landscape. By leveraging recent investments from aviation giants Qantas and Airbus, the company intends to transform hundreds of thousands of tonnes of low-carbon methanol—derived from forest waste and hydrogen—into 140 million liters of sustainable aviation fuel annually.
